The following outline is a brief explanation of what to expect once you have decided to start with neurofeedback.
1. 1st Appointment:
Initial Meet and Greet Consultation. The first step is to schedule your FREE initial Meet and Greet Consultation with our office (no obligation and no comittments). This 30 to 45 minute presentation will cover any additional questions you might have regarding neurofeedback and how this training may apply to your particular situation. In addition we will cover items such as testing and assessments, training schedule, pricing and financing, and insurance.
2. 2nd Appointment:
Assessment Testing and Intake. After the initial consultation, clients will be required to complete our intake forms covering family history, current medications, list of vitamins and supplements, previous diagnosis, as well as physiological historical information. This will be followed by various testing including a Mini Quantitative EEG Assessment (Mini-Q), and / or a computerized testing of Attention, Impulsivity, and Hyperactivity (TOVA). This appoinment will take approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
3. 3rd Appointment:

It is a road map detailing the brain and whether its' overactive, underactive, are there any coherence or symmetry issues, and items dealing with delta, theta, alpha and beta frequency bands of the EEG.
The exact number of sessions a client may need varies from client to client and cannot be definitively determined until our assessments have been completed. History (case studies) has shown us that most clients require about 20 session with some other conditions (e.g. autistic spectrum, bipolar disorder, and tourettes) are more difficult and may require 30 to 60 sessions.
