Want to reduce the dependence on medication?

Since the introduction of EEG Biofeedback, many physicians have recently started to complement their own efforts by utilizing the Neurofeedback Wellness Center in conjunction with conventional therapies. Medical research, Medical Journals, and university studies (biofeedback studies) over the years have shown the significant of EEG Biofeedback (Neurofeedback) with positive benefits with a number of conditions. These broad range of conditions, many of them chronic, have seen help in reducing or even eliminating the need for medication in many cases including seizure disorders, add, adhd, attention deficit disorders, chronic pain, and many others.

reduce medicationThe development of effective medications has been instrumental part of modern health care. For many, they are the difference between severe distress and an improved quality of life. Unfortunately, along with the benefits, medications can come with potential drawbacks. For some patients, medications bring unwanted and possibly detrimental side effects. Medications are often designed to help by alleviating symptoms but in some cases they actually do not address the underlying cause but only deal with the symptoms. For some chronic health problems, medications that were initially helpful at first may lose their effectiveness over time. Even with rigorous testing, many new medications we just do not know their long-term effects will be, especially on children.

Now when the time comes to reducing medications, it is ONLY at your Prescribing Physician recommendation or direction that our clients may adjust their medication(s). Many medications may have potential side-effects or reactions when they are not properly titrated. Neither our center, nor our staff, will ever suggest, recommend, or instruct the adjustment of any prescribed medication(s). However; as studies have indicated, clients who progress with neurofeedback many result in needing less medication, or the client may become overmedicated.
